About FoodChek Laboratories Inc.
FoodChek Laboratories Inc. (formerly Maxivet Inc.) is our state-of-the-art research and development facility, and located in Sainte-Julie, Quebec, Canada. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of FoodChek Systems Inc. (“FoodChek™”), located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The laboratory specializes in the development and validation of diagnostic tools for detecting microbial pathogens throughout the human and pet food production chains. The lab team leads a robust program of research and development in support of the FoodChek™ mission.

On June 7, 2018, FoodChek Laboratories Inc. received the ISO 9001:2015 Certificate of Registration for its Quality Management System. Some of the main benefits this certification provides are:

We offer the food industry a unique expertise in in the detection of foodborne pathogens. The lab is registered with the Public Health Agency of Canada and accredited to handle pathogenic bacteria (Level 2).
