NANOTECHNOLOGY
The antibody conjugated (iron/magnetic) nanoparticles produce a visual test line signal when the conjugate-antigen complex binds to them. This signal is then interpreted by the MICT reader when loaded in. If no pathogen antigen is present to bind to the immobilised test line antibody then no test line signal is seen.
